You Will Be Missed

Bueller
1996-2007

Here's one of my favorite O'Neill pieces.
O'Neill obviously had never experienced the
charms of a Sheltie, but I agree with his sentiments.

Thank you. It came on so fast (he died of heart failure), we're all still trying to adjust to the fact that he's gone. My daughter feeds "pretend" Bueller every night and takes him out in the yard every morning. It's very sweet and I'm kind of grateful for "pretend" Bueller.

I'm sorry to hear about Beuller. My dog MacHeath, a roustabout Kerry Blue Terrier, was born the same year as Bueller. Mac's still with us, but I already muse over how the day may not be so far off that I'll be missing him keenly, just as you're missing Bueller now. And so my heart goes out to you. I'm touched by your daughter's remembrance of him.

Thank you for the O'Neill piece, which I hadn't seen before.

Thank you, Mead. I'm wishing MacHeath good health and long, happy days with you.

Cheers,
